| Siemens OGA 2005, Kuala Lumpur
Background The newly opened Convention Center of KLCC (owned by Petronas) was hosting the OGA exhibition for the first time. About 600 participating companies from the oil, gas and petrochemicals industries, made OGA 2005 the largest and most comprehensive in the Asian region.
Challenge Prior to OGA 2005, the global Sector of Siemens Oil & Gas had decided to establish a Regional Headquarters for its O & G business in Malaysia. Siemens’ O&G business comprises of various Divisions, each of them with a different business focus. In addition, Siemens is not perceived as a top player in the O&G business.
Essence’s Solution A corporate message via an outstanding exhibition booth and integrated events, followed by the opening of the Regional HQ within the Twin Towers shall set the stage for Siemens to make its presence felt in Asia and the O&G industry. An aggressive and modern look of the exhibition, light and activities, tone and manner in a non-conventional method set a different mood in a rather conservative industry like O&G. The opening of the regional HQ was implemented in the same tone and manner, and was complemented by a very successful PR exercise.

- Exhibition booth ranked among top 5 booths at the event.
